Dachshunds are not your typical high maintenance dog breed. However, every puppy needs lots of love, attention and work. The Dachshund's
coat sheds moderately and often needs only regular brushing and checking for ticks and fleas. Like any dog, your Dachshund will appreciate if
you feed it with fresh foods, clean its teeth and ear,s clip its nails when necessary. Longhaired Dachshunds may need more maintenance,
brush their coat and keep matts trimmed. Nevertheless, Dachshunds are said to be devoid of unpleasant "dog odor" and are seldom known to
give their owners grooming troubles. All puppies however chew things, mainly the things you don't want them to, eat everything and need to be
watched at all times. They also have the tendency to roll in unpleasant things on the ground. Please think about the commitment and time that
